Blast Mitigating Tiles
These protective tiles are employed to protect vehicles and buildings from explosive charges. Our Titanium alloy tiles feature light weight, high heat resistance and in particular blast mitigating characteristics. An internal titanium lattice structure absorbs the destructive energy of an explosion.
An integrated internal layer is designed to absorb the destructive energy of the blast wave.
Computer simulation of a 500kg TNT equivalent detonation at a stand-off distance of 5m. Note only minimal stress propagation to the base layer.
